The Kunafa Crepe is by far one of my new favorite desserts! We walked in to get a quick bite to eat! The menu is huge and legit has anything you can image on it. The dessert waffles on display caught my attention. As I pointed them out to my wife a male employee or owner pointed out a plate and said, "try the kunafa, it's a Turkish dessert. You must try the kunafa crepe. It's mind blowing." So without hesitation we ordered the kunafa crepe and a lamb gyro! When the crepe came out be explained that the kunafa has cheese on the inside and it covered in a crispy crust drizzled with honey. Then wrapped in a crepe which is drizzled with white chocolate and pistachios! I took one bite of the crepe and knew I would be back soon to get another!! The crepe is perfectly cooked and the crispy cheese filled inside is so light and perfect! Mind blowing was a description of this dessert. It was hard for me to start eating my gyro until I took the first bite which solidified my rerun back to this restaurant! Everything we ate was delicious and the service was too notch! Don't sleep on Busy Boy at all. You will be missing out

Authentic. Flavorful. Fast. Friendly service. Amazing menu variety & options + desserts. Visiting from out of town & went here based on reviews & proximity to our hotel. Was greeted by very friendly staff. Was offered recommendations of their favorites/best sellers, so tried their Philly cheesesteak as well as the crispy chicken sandwich (medium heat). Both were phenomenal. Quality ingredients are apparent here, and can definitely tell the entire menu would be a hit. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area. Plenty of seating on either side of the connected restaurants ... and we noticed families at every table smiling enjoying their food, coffees and desserts. Love to see a place thriving

The food options are great. The kids loved the smores waffles and the gyro salad was ok. My only complaint is that the gyro meat was overcooked and crunchy in spots. The shakes were great and the service was good. The restaurant was very clean. They are not really setup for large parties, without putting tables together, but the seating is ample for parties of 4 or less.

Amazing and flavorful food, service was so kind and friendly, and lots of seating for people to enjoy in a clean cafe environment. The cheesesteak is delicious and the sauces go so well with the flavors! The chicken shawarma was soft and juicy. A must visit when in Houston, especially if you are shopping in the Hillcroft area!

One of the best cheesesteak sandwiches I've tried! Although it came with non traditional bread, it was really good!!! I also loved the sauce bar, with 4 sauces to try with your meal, all of which are awesome! The service was great, and inside the restaurant was pretty big with plenty of seats and crepe/waffles for dessert. Great spot for some late night dinner! Tip: you should definitely add ice cream to your waffle/crepe!

Every part of the philly sandwich tasted fresh and delicious! The portion was also pretty big so I had it for lunch and dinner :) I also tried their crispy chicken sandwich which was also delicious and not like your average crispy chicken sandwiches. I would highly recommend asking for some sides of their garlic sauce and especially trying it with their fries

Thanks to Vinh's reminder on the timing of my visit to Busy Boy Grill and Cafe. I was here during Ramadan in a Saturday's early afternoon. Don't laugh. I have never had Shawarma in my life. Count my blessings to try this Middle Eastern food for the first time. Many people already have their own favorite shawarma restaurants. I'm really a rookie when I saw the big chunk of meat on the vertical turning rotisserie oven. In Mexico, this rotisserie meat cooking method is called al pastor. But at Busy Boy... Someone please tell me the difference between gyro and shawarma. Because I was hungry. A line employee couldn't answer my question. So, I waited for the cashier. Not sure if I pronounced gyro right. But he said gyro is the meat from the kitchen while shawarma meat is from the vertical turning oven in the front. Sounds good. Time to eat. So, I ordered a shawarma wrap with both beef and chicken. He upgraded my order to meal deal for $3.50 more. I got a bottomless drink and a potato salad. Meat was tender but a little salty for my taste bud. The wrap and veggies were fresh. I had no more room for salad at that point. I really wanted to try the ice cream next door, or just across the hall. But it appeared to be closed. The best part was the clean restaurant and flexible seating. Looks like I could have a party here.
